Class II – A Critical Player in Practice Success?
Presenter: Dr. Simone Grandini
CE Credits: 0 CPD (Home Study)

Release Date: 6/28/16
NOT FOR CE CREDIT - There is a common belief that there’s nothing new to learn about direct restorations. As dentists we consider the class II procedure to be somehow boring. After all, on average, 69% of our annual patient base will need a direct restoration – around 50% of these will be class II’s. Understandably, we underestimate the possible setbacks of an incorrect class II restoration, what it means to our patients and ultimately what it means to us. In reality, class II resin restorations are up to 10 times more likely to be replaced at our expense than class II dental amalgams. This webinar will focus on several aspects of the class II procedure, and will provide a workflow which can be applied on a daily basis in order to avoid the common pitfalls that often lead to the need for replacement.

With little “ shape memory", WaveOne Gold has the ability to treat some of the more complex challenges seen in everyday endodontic practice such as those with long, curved and narrow canals. These cases are now within the comfort zone of many colleagues. Co developer Julian Webber will review those design features of WaveOne gold that have enhanced its performance and offer clinical hints and solutions to achieve exceptional endodontic outcomes.
